Actually, the term "Txakoli/Txakolina" is a traditional protected by the regulations of the European Union to designate, only wines under the three designations of origin: Txakoli of Alava, Txakoli of Bizkaia and Txakoli of Getaria.
The white wines are the majority, with pinks, also called eye of cockerel, red and the smaller presence. Wines are marked by the personality varieties perfectly suited to our particular provision of terrain and valleys before the rains, and the softness of the temperatures.
