2007 BELDUI BASERRIA ARABAKO TXAKOLINA
Pale yellow. Spicy lemon-lime and green apple on the nose, further brightened by white pepper and dusty minerals. Shows deeper tangerine and peach on the palate, with a bitter lime pitch quality adding bite. Finishes pleasantly bitter, with good lift and cut. This is a bit fleshier than most examples of Txakoli.

2008 BELDUI BASERRIA ARABAKO TXAKOLINA 100% hondarrabi zuri) Light yellow. Pear, melon and lime on the
nose, with a suave undercurrent of talc-y minerals adding energy. Racy,
finely etched citrus flavors are a bit tart, but dusty mineral and
honeysuckle qualities add nuance. This very dry wine finishes with firm
grip and lemony cut. Some might find this too austere. (The Enye Group,
